My lovely dance

Just watch videos on this website. http://www.eklesiast.fr/ It's 'cause I feel hard to expain what kind of dance it is. If you're European, you probably have ever seen it on the street or in a club. Yeah, it's called Tecktonik, which came from and has become more and more popular from Paris in France. It's a form of dance based on a blend of hip hop and techno styles (late 80s Vogue, 90s Waving and old school Breakdancing). Tecktonik style also borrows heavily from cyberpunk. We may feel weird at first sight. And also some people comment on Tecktonik video of Youtube like this, " Tecktonik is for gays!!!". The reason probably makes them say such a thing why It is popular at Gay Pride events in France and was notably so at the event in Nantes and Lyon in June 2007. But I don't care about it 'cause it is not specifically associated with the gay subculture. We shouldn't blame different style even if we feel it weird.

I have a few friends who love football freestyle and dance. We decided to show our skill to spectator in University festival at the beggining of October. But it's not allowed by steering committee for this festival. So we'll do as we want. Suddenly turning on big speaker attached to ipod then dancing Tecktonik and doing freestyle football to the music. It sounds so fun, dosen't it?! But most of spectators will definitely feel so weird 'cause Tecktonik hasn't been recognized yet in Japan and it probably reminds them of parapara. Parapara is a kind of dance which had become popular in Japan among young punk around 1995 and is similar to Tecktonik and also is impressed as silly one. We'll probably get cold looks but I don't care!!! I'll be a pioneer in Tecktonik in my univertisy!!! JUST DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
